Infinix has announced plans to introduce two new technologies at the upcoming 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES): AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery. Infinix’s AirCharge technology is a new wireless charging method that allows users to wirelessly charge their smart devices without physically touching a cable or charging pad. It operates at a low frequency and allows wireless charging at a distance of up to 20 centimeters and an angular deviation of up to 60 degrees.
Developed by the Chinese electronics brand, the Extreme Temp battery features biomimetic electrolytes and fused solid state technology on the electrodes that work in cold environments. It is intended to guarantee performance even at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius. The new AirCharge and Extreme Temp battery technologies developed by Infinix will be unveiled at the CES 2024 event ShowStoppers, the company announced in a press release. The brand claims that AirCharge technology is a breakthrough in wireless charging. It uses multi-coil magnetic resonance technology and adaptive algorithms and aims to allow users to charge their smart devices without using cables or physically touching the charging pad. This feature is useful for charging your device while playing mobile games or watching videos.
New Technologies
AirCharge technology allows charging at a distance of 0-20 centimeters and is said to work even when the transmitting and receiving coils are tilted at an angle of up to 60 degrees. It operates at 6.78 MHz, provides up to 7.5 W of charging power, and is equipped with an end-to-end resonant and overvoltage protection circuit (OVP) for safety reasons. Additionally, Infinix aims to address the issue of lithium-ion batteries freezing in extreme cold or heat with its Extreme Temp battery technology.

The company says it has integrated biomimetic electrolytes and fused solid state technology into the electrodes, which allows the cells to perform well at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius. Extreme Temp batteries have a charging temperature range of 100 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius) and are said to work in the coldest environments. The annual consumer technology trade show is held in Las Vegas during the second week of January. In addition to Infinix, several electronics brands including Intel and Asus will showcase their latest innovations during the event. Affiliate links may be automatically generated.
